Our volunteers have played an incredible role in supporting families over the past year.
You are the heart of Home-Start and we want to say thank you this Volunteers Week 1st-7th June 2022.
Home-Start UK launches the ‘Volunteer Festival’ this week to celebrate the wonderful work that volunteers do all around the country for Home-Start.
As part of this, Kathy the CEO of Home-Start Wessex would like so say “I want to send an extra special ‘Thank you’ to all our amazing volunteers who dedicate so much of their time to supporting families locally and who make such a huge to difference to so many people’s lives.
We would not be able to do our work without you!“
77% of families supported by Home-Start felt more comfortable getting support from a volunteer than a professional. Our trained volunteers change lives and we want to thank you for your amazing work.
We will be celebrating over the week so please do check our social media channels.
