NEW Harmony Beach Group
From Tuesday 10th May to Tuesday 5th July 2022 we will be holding a new drop-in family group on Southbourne beach for parents who may be feeling anxious, lonely or having trouble connecting with their community.
We will meet weekly from 10am-11.30am at beach hut number 2719O which is located between Portman Ravine and Fisherman’s Walk zig zag on Southbourne Beach.
Trained and experienced staff and volunteers will lead fun children’s activities and offer parents 1:1 support and advice which is confidential and non-judgemental.
Meeting up outside improves mental and physical health and wellbeing and aids child development.
This group differs to our others by offering a weekly meet up where referral and assessment is not required to join. Just turn up and enjoy these fun, relaxed and informal weekly drop-in groups which will provide:
- A place to meet like-minded parents
- Outside setting for children to enjoy nature at the beach
- Strategies for improving health and wellbeing such as mindfulness, diet and sleep.
- Information and support to improve parent and child relationships.
