Volunteer Spotlight: Abdulai

As a dedicated Fundraising and Events volunteer, Abdulai has been an incredible advocate for Home-Start Wessex, helping raise awareness of our work supporting local families.

Over the past year, he’s represented us at events including Little Pickles Market and Broadstone Fun Day, connecting with the community and sharing our mission.

Earlier this year, Abdulai also took part in the Plane Pull Challenge, joining a team of 20 to pull an aircraft — and raising over £2,600 for Home-Start Wessex!

We’re so proud to have Abdulai on our team and deeply grateful for his passion, energy, and commitment to helping local families thrive.

“I was fortunate to have a strong start to life, but that’s not the same for every child. We all have a role to change that — which is why I joined Home-Start.” – Abdulai
